Apelnya yang krenyeus2, ditambah aroma kayumanis, sebutir whole almond (bukan maksud pelit, tapi WHOLE ALMOND booo, itupun dapat dari mertua yang baru aja went abroad, jadi pake almondnya dieman-eman) dan satu scope cream cheese fosting sebagai toppingnya, hmmmm, I just luv luv luv this cake SO MUCH!
Oia, tekstur German Apple Cake sebenarnya lebih padat dari yang aku buat. Di sini aku tambahin 1 cup susu UHT cokelat, jadi teksturnya nggak seperti yang seharusnya. Untuk cream cheesenya, aku karang-karang sendiri tapii, Alhamdulillah, hasilnya sama sekali nggak mengecewakan.
Aku beneran kepincut sama cake ini! Tapi si Ayah nggak doyan, baru dicium aja langsung bilang "kayumanis yaa??" dan si kue langsung ditaruh lagi!! Dia cuma towel-towel creamnya aja "hmm, rasa es krim keju!" hehehe, I do have the same thought!.
German Apple Cake -wanna be- with Icy Cream Cheese Frosting (Cup Cake Apel)
Serving : 30 cup or 9x13 inch cake
Bahan:
2 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar -
I used 1 1/2 cups-
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-I put more-
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
-out of stock, I shift w/baking powder-
4 cups apples - peeled, cored and diced
-I used granny smith ones-
1 cup milk -added by me- How to:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 inch cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl; beat oil and eggs with an electric mixer until creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla and beat well.-masukkan minyaknya sedikit demi sedikit yaa, biar hasilnya bisa creamy-
- Combine the flour salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon together in a bowl. Slowly add this mixture to the egg mixture and mix until combined. The batter will be very thick. Fold in the apples by hand using a wooden spoon. Spread batter into the prepared pan -at last I pour the milk in-
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Let cake cool on a wire rack. Once cake is cool serve with a dusting of confectioners' sugar or with a Cream Cheese Frosting.
Icy Cream Cheese Frosting
Bahan:
75 gr whipped cream bubuk
225 ml air super dingin
30 gr unsalted butter
15 porsi cheese spreadnya
Laughing Cow -1 pak beratnya 120 gr, isinya 8 porsi, jadiii per porsi 15 gr. Nah, totalnya pake 225 gr cheese spread yaa-
How to:
-Simpan butter dan cheese spread pada suhu ruang biar agak lumer
-Kocok semua bahan jadi 1 hingga kental, simpan dalam freezer selama 15 menit, keluarkan.
-Siap dioleskan ke cake.
Note:
Aku cuma oleskan creamnya ke 2/3 bagian cupcake (20 cups) jadi creamnya tuebel-tuebel, sisanya dimakan plain.
